Description:
Little, lively and as bright as a new day, Dewleaf is seen sitting still and calm for almost none of her waking hours. She is a hive of activity all day long, from sunrise to sunset (and sometimes in the night as well, much to her friends' annoyance). Light on her paws and covered with pale grey-brown tabby fur, Dewleaf is endearing, bouncy and vibrant. Her speckled pelt is frequently ruffled and she is generally far too impatient to spend much time smoothing it down. It is soft and tufty, almost like a kit's, and she has lighter fur around her chin, belly and inner legs. She brims with enthusiasm for everything, and love for life is so very obvious in the little she-cat , particularly since her bright green eyes always mirror what she's feeling. Though she is smaller than most, she makes up for it in other ways, like with her larger-than-life personality. She is very easly distinguished from the others, as she is probably the only cat who literally cannot sit still and is constantly talking and laughing.
Personality:
Dewleaf is so full of life that it simply bursts from every hair on her pelt. Her eyes light up when she laughs, which happens to be a lot of the time, and Dewleaf is one of those cats who can cheer almost anyone up. She is confident, feisty and unafraid to be herself. Comfortable in her own pelt, Dewleaf knows how to make herself and those around her happy, and she devotes her time to being as brilliantly lively as she possibly can. Which happens to be extremely lively, much to her poor mother's dismay. Dewleaf is still very young and acts spontaneously and often without thinking. She has been known to inadvertantly cause a lot of trouble, leading her best friend astray rather often. Even though she can accidently cause complete chaos from time to time, therei is no spite to be found in Dewleaf, for she has only the best intentions and there is not a mean bone in her body. She does not hold grudges, and if she ever does quarrel with somebody, it is almost guaranteed that she will have forgotten it by the morning and will be ready to be friends again. She loves company and is the type of cat who thrives off the affection of others, and being lonely does not suit her at all. Because of this, she is more often than not amongst a number of other cats.
History:
Born in a time of plenty, Dewkit had the best possible start to life. She never went hungry and the nursery had many kits for her to play with, though she had no brothers or sisters of her own. She was a very happy, healthy little kit, eager to bounce around and play very enthusiastically. Her mother, having thought she would have an easy time raising just one kit, ended up completely exhausted by her sole daughter's antics. Despite the trouble Dewkit managed to cause, she and her mother were and still are very close.
In the other litter in the nursery, there was a young tom who quickly became Dewkit's best friend. They grew up together, with Dewkit coming up with all kinds of ambitious and completely ridiculous schemes. Six moons seemed to fly by with Dewkit having a blast in the nursery, but she was by no means unhappy to take on the wide world of training and learning. She was finally allowed to roam around, learning how to fight and hunt. Dewpaw couldn't be happier, especially as she trained with Silverpaw. Her mentor, Frostpool certainly had her paws full, but luckily she was a capable she-cat who also had plenty of energy. Though there was some trouble and tension with other Clans whilst Dewpaw was growing up, she made it through the early stages unscathed. By the time she reached ten moons, Dewpaw was impatient and very keen to receive her warrior name. She sometimes felt it would never come, what with all the things to learn and conversely, the many things that threatened to be forgotten. Though she trained hard, Dewleaf had to contend with a natural clumsiness and slightly scatter-brained nature, which perhaps delayed her progress. Nonetheless, she was a talented young cat and improved steadily.
Finally, when Dewpaw reached thirteen moons, Willowstar made her and Silverpaw warriors. Dewpaw became Dewleaf, and as a result was on a bubble of pure delight for days and days afterwards. She hardly stopped smiling from the moment Willowstar said "Dewleaf" for the first time. Not long has passed since that day, and Dewleaf is wonderfully happy and content with life. She has her best friend and she thinks things are as they have always been, but could it be that something is changing? Silverstripe and she have always been closer than brother and sister, and yet recently their relationship has had a few odd episodes. Neither will admit it, but they have begun to see one another in a slightly different light...
