Name: Viperstrike
Age: 31 moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Warrior
Apprentice: None as of yet
Love Interest: None as of yet
Kin: N/A
Description: Viperstrike is a smaller cat and looks more like he should belong to WindClan than ThunderClan. He almost appears to be malnourished, despite his hefty appetite. His face, however, is wide and his ears big. His pelt consists of blacks and browns, striped along his back, flanks and legs. White graces all four of his paws, and runs up the back of his back legs. The inside of his legs are a light brown, almost tawny color. The lighter brown on his forelegs appears almost gray in the light, which fades to the patch of white on his chest. His face is striped as well, two particular black lines running from the corners of his pale, emerald eyes. Multiple black stripes run down the back of his neck to one large stripe down his back, that continues to his tail, which is striped underneath. His eyes are wide-set and larger than the average cat's, giving him an innocent appearance and greatly contrasting his name.
Personality: Viperstrike is often mistaken for the viciousness of his name. He is an overall friendly cat who is well-liked among his Clanmates. When it comes to battle, Viperstrike would much rather be able to settle things on a matter of words instead of tooth and claw. But when it comes right down to it, there is nothing he wouldn't do for his Clan. He has always put ThunderClan first, ignoring his own feelings and a master at hiding them and putting others' first. Viperstrike has always been unable to be mean to any cat. Though he may dislike a Clanmate, he will probably never say a word to them about it, unless extremely angry or provoked. Despite his friendly demeanor, he is quite opinionated and sticks to his beliefs. He tries his best to like every cat and hate none, making him very easy to get along with.
History: Viperstrike never knew his father and grew up with one sibling named Featherkit. His sister was smaller than the average kit and they had been born in leafbare. From the beginning, all the Clan knew she wouldn't survive long. Though he was only a kit, Viperstrike remembers missing the feelings of his sister next to him and still dreams of her to this day. His mother, Speckledmoon, was an older queen and she died soon after Featherkit. Viperkit was taken in by another queen and loved just the same.
Since both Viperpaw and his sister had been born early, as an apprentice, he was still not as big as his denmates. His mentor, Lionblaze, was at first worried that Viperpaw would be too small to become a fearsome warrior. He was impressed, however, when he proved to be a swift and effective opponent in battle. When Lionblaze was killed by a ambush ShadowClan patrol, Viperpaw was overcome with grief for almost a moon. Since he had no kin in ThunderClan, his mentor had been the closest thing he had to family. When he was made a warrior soon after, he realized that the only way he could make Lionblaze and the rest of his family proud would be to become the best warrior he could be, even if he was virtually alone.
Other:
Roleplay Example: The sounds of the battle echoed among ThunderClan's trees. Blood and fur flew everywhere as Viperpaw struck out at a black tom twice his size. The ShadowClan cat lunged at his throat, but the striped apprentice was too quick. Viperpaw ducked under the warrior's massive paw, skirting around him to swipe at his flank. Blood welled around the scratch, but the younger cat didn't pause to admire his work. The enemy warrior lashed out, catching Viperpaw's ear as he dashed around him and caught the larger cat's tail in his mouth. Biting down with all the ferocity he contained, Viperpaw grunted in satisfaction as the already weakened warrior squealed and fled into the trees.
The multicolored tom began to back up, searching out any other ThunderClan cats in need or any ShadowClan cats looking for trouble. He almost tripped backwards onto his tail as he stumbled over something. Gazing around, Viperpaw realized with anguish what had tripped him up.
A mass of bright, ginger fur lay at his paws.
"Viperpaw? Is that you?" Lionblaze croaked, blood dripping from his mouth. The young apprentice crouched down and touched his nose to his mentor's slowly rising flank.
"It's me, Lionblaze, I'm here."
