Name: Eaglepaw
Age: Six moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: RiverClan
Rank: Apprentice
Mentor: Rainfang
Love Interest: None
Kin: Troutsplash [mother, forty two moons] Sparrowflight [father, forty eight moons]
Description: Eaglepaw is considered pretty, or at least that's what she thinks of herself. Her pelt is a medium length dark ginger-red color, with paler streaks running through the soft fur. On her paws, face, and ears the fur is lighter colored than the rest of her body, and her feet even have blobs of white on them. Her chest fur is also a white-ginger coloring, though not very noticeable. Her eyes are dark amber, conflicting with her fur color.
Eaglepaw is not incredibly bulky, but she isn't extremely lean either. She is rounded, as is normal with RiverClan cats, but not overweight. Moons as an excited, feisty kit have gotten rid of any baby fat she once had on her body. She has a long body, with agile limbs and a lengthy, smooth tail. She is slightly smaller than the other apprentices her age, but her personality makes up for it.
Personality: Eaglepaw's personality is common for apprentices. She is feisty, and finds paying attention for long periods of time to be a troublesome task. She isn't known for being obedient- in fact, rules don't interest her at all, and if anyone were to break the warrior code, she would be one of the top suspects. It's not that she goes out of her way to be bad- it's just the fiery personality within her. She is also extremely determined, and when she sets her mind on something, she usually always carries through.
Normally, a warrior princess kind of personality is overused, but Eaglepaw has her own little quirks as well. She tends to ramble on when a subject comes up, and when she becomes aware that she's launching into a full out speech, she goes quiet immediately and feels embarrassed. She tries to make a good impression to those around her, and is self conscious about the way other cats see her. She isn't known for being overly intelligent, but she can solve problems easily and is a quick thinker in a pinch. Her enthusiastic, bold personality can sometimes irritate her mentor... but she does have her good traits.
History: Eaglekit and Mistkit were born during a particularly cold newleaf to Troutsplash and her mate, Sparrowflight. Eaglepaw was named for her dark ginger-red pelt like her father, which had an eagle-like quality to it. Mistkit was named for her gray pelt, like her mother. Food was still scarce at this time, and the kits were often thin from hunger, seeing as the Clan's abundance of elders at the time consumed most of the prey. Mistkit grew weaker and died, but Eaglekit just managed to pull through. Greenleaf came and prey was once again running freely, and Eaglekit grew stronger.
Now only the mother of a single kit, Troutsplash began to go off on warrior duties again while the other she-cats watched Eaglekit. Sparrowflight, a prominent warrior in the Clan, barely had time to visit his daughter and was often hunting or patrolling. Eaglekit grew up pestering the other kits and the apprentices, and found it very boring to try to amuse herself.
When she was six moons old, she received the apprentice name Eaglepaw and began her training to become a warrior.
Other: Nothing else :3
Roleplay Example:Russetpaw sat silently in the center of the ThunderClan clearing. She had agreed to sit with Dandyheart while he had his vigil, even though she was pretty sure that the warrior code was against it. The moon and stars stared down from the midnight sky, warming her eyes in a way. The ginger she-cat thoughtfully twitched a whisker.
Turning to Dandypaw-heart, now- she looked sadly in to his eyes. Even though he couldn't talk now, she wanted to talk to him and just have him listen like he would those days when she ran off after a gruesome ambush on a clanmate. "I guess this is it." she sighed, a hint of distant sorrow in her voice. "The last time we play together as kits and apprentices. The last time we share a den. The last... everything." Her mind was wandering places she never knew it could wander. She whispered quietly, "This is it."
Somehow Russetpaw knew Dandyheart would normally speak up and say that she would be a warrior soon. She already knew the truth, though. Her warrior ceremony would never be awarded. Russetpaw blinked, feeling a hint of sadness. Fights with blood and injury as a kit and desire for battle. I'm just like Scourge. she thought ruefully. I hunger for blood. She blinked again and gazed deeply in to Dandyheart's eyes.
Her voice quivered as she gulped and spoke. "Dandyheart, tomorrow I'm leaving. There's nothing here for me anymore. I'm like Scourge. I desire for blood. For battle. The Clans would fall to turmoil if I It's the way it has to be. Like you and Fizzletail. Like the downfall of Redwhisker. Like this." she gulped again and her voice was thrown off. Russetpaw felt no connection to what she was saying. "I must keep ThunderClan safe from me. I'll find a den outside Clan borders. I'll live there until I die like Tigerstar. I'll never forget you, Dandypaw. Or Midnightstar. Or anyone. But I must go."
Redwhisker looked at Russetpaw. He stiffened, hoping she didn't notice his eavesdropping. Russetpaw, you can't go! ThunderClan needs you! I need you! he wanted to sob and comfort her. We'd be the best together, you and I. But the red tabby tom didn't speak. He remembered thoughtfully that he had a vigil to sit.
The two red-ginger cats waited in silence for Dandyheart's words.
NOTE: Wrote that when I was a newbie roleplayer, so it is cliche and weird xD
