(ooc: Can I change the time. Things were pretty slow)
BIC: Sandtail awoke from her nap. She'd been resting comfortably beside the elder's den, away from the noise of the nursery and the warriors comoing in and out of the camp. She had only awakened because she felt a sudden chil.
The sun which had kept her so warm, was falling from the sky, smearing the clouds in beautiful red, orange and pink. Yawning, Sandtail stretched.
"It's about time," a croaky voice behind her mewed.
Sandtail turned around, feeling to rested to be surprised. Nightpelt, an old she-cat, was sitting beside her. "I thought you'd sleep till moonhigh," the old cat mewed.
Sandtail smiled. "You're one to talk."
"What's this I hear about little Violetkit in a fight?"
Sandtail's smile fell. Quietly, the queen explained the entire story. When she finished, Nightpelt scoffed. "Kits fight."
"Not like this they don't."
"Sandtail, I know you love your kits above anything else, but they aren't the only ones to have ever existed. Violetkit and Sandkit made a mistake. They'll be better off in the future for it, trust me."
Sandtail was disgruntled but faced forward and didn't reply. Hawkflight was curled up beside Violetkit and Creamkit. They appeared to be speaking. The kits were giggling. Sandtail shrugged. Maybe it wasn't such a big deal to them. Sighing, she padded over.
Creamkit jumped up first, "Mommy, mommy! Daddy was telling us about Pantherclan!"
Sandtail looked confused. "Pantherclan?"
"Like Leopardclan, but panthers are completely black."
"How do you know?"
"A retired medicine cat told me once."
Sandtail smiled. Hawkflight was always making up something to entertain Violetkit. But it was nice to see him paying some attention to Creamkit too. Suddenly, Hawkflight uncurled from around his kits.
"I should do some hunting before Ravenstar announces who's going to the Gathering."
"Oh," Sandtail mewed. "Okay."
She was disappointed. She missed spending time with him. Hawkflight licked her forehead.
"I'll be back soon."
