Tigerpaw is easily clear to his name. Body build and coat declare him a perfect tiger. He has a handsome gray-brown coat, a shade nicely settled between the two. He has a nice tabby coat with very thin but noticeable stripes all down him. He has white splashed across each paw. Socks make up three of the paws but only his toes have the white on his right forepaw. Tigerpaw’s muzzle is white and it stretches down the broad throat and neck to his chest and then slightly across his stomach. The slightest ring of white circles his neck in an evident “collar.” He has large, thing ears flecked with puffs of white fur from within, which is no surprise considering even if he isn’t long-haired exactly he has an extremely fluffy coat. His long tail is almost completely black and fluffed out to show how actually puffy and warm his fur pelt is. In the way of build, he’s a larger tom with a tough muscled body that makes him a strong force to deal with should he ever become a decent fighter. But his face seems somewhat small and composed even with the rest of his body being large and cumbersome. A round, small, but slightly pointed muzzle is topped with a bright pink nose. He has dull green eyes that are far from extraordinary making it a very plain part to his whole appearance. But there is a sort of knowledge in them. Not intelligence but rather a knowledge of heart and loyalty.
Personality:
Serious & Controlled;; Tigerpaw is best described as mature for his age. Even if he will be a warrior in a couple of moons, he often acts far older, like he’s already a senior warrior of the Clan. This seemed to come from Flamepaw being the more bouncy happy one of the duo. He rarely ever loses his temper or actually loses any sort of emotion. He is always in good control of himself from the way he walks to the way he talks. Trouble is, he has repressed many of his real feelings in return for being a proper apprentice and future warrior. Not that he doesn’t have emotions or doesn’t care. It was just losing Flamepaw made him a little more serious.
Thoughtful & Demure;; When Tigerpaw lost his brother, he took Flamepaw’s ideals to heart and has changed for the better for it. Issue is most do not seem to realize that the serious exterior is merely hiding a very soft cat within. Tigerpaw can fight along his Clan but those are cats he may never get close to. Tigerpaw is, in a way, a hopeless romantic that someday hopes of having the cliché dreams accomplished. So he hopes. But it never seems like he has the natural confidence Flamepaw had or the outgoingness he did. Tigerpaw is shy in a sense and would rather sit alone to think than be put in an awkward situation where he had to talk a lot.
Chivalrous & True;; This tom is loyal to the heart though. Once you have him on your side, he shall not move until told to do so. He is a one-she-cat type of boy and the inner romanticist in him has him hard to be detoured from the one he should want as his own. Of course, that would be far in the future. He does not like to tell lies and would rather be true to his Clan and family if he had the choice. Tigerpaw has a big heart with the right ideals. Too bad this boy is just too shy and unconfident in himself to pull through with them as Flamepaw was always able to.
History:
Tigerkit was born to a litter of two alongside his brother Flamekit. In the way of kithood, there was almost no real difference between him and others. He had a good mother, a good father. A very happy brother and a good life. Flamekit was the adventurous one, the happy one that always had his mind stuck on games and having fun. Everybody knew Flamekit as he was constantly bounding around the camp enjoying the social time he got. Tigerkit was not so much like this. He was the shy one, staying in the nursery when he could with other kits he knew. Nobody ever shamed him for it. They were just opposites.
Tigerkit and Flamekit became apprentices and that was when things started to happen. Flamepaw was a favorite among the other apprentices, a favorite for his flirty and extroverted attitude. He slacked on training however and was always scolded for that. Tigerpaw was better at sticking to lessons but felt so unsure about everything he did. He never blamed his mentor for his lack of real confidence. He was born with it, so he claims. Flamepaw always did try to get his brother to participate with him on the times when he and other apprentices ate together and enjoyed training with one another.
He just didn’t like those things though. While he loved Flamepaw, the social limelight wasn’t where Tigerpaw belonged. Stripeclaw and Ferntooth worried about Tigerpaw’s social life because Flamepaw outshined him. They knew he was happy but they wanted their son to have the best opportunities if at all possible.
There was nothing they could do that could make him happier though. He had a couple of friends, he had a good Clan, a great brother, good parents- it was a great life for him. Well, until the sudden disease that rushed through ShadowClan. That was not so nice.
It wasn't more than a couple weeks ago and the disease was taking many cats with it. Flamepaw happened to be one of them. Tigerpaw denied to himself that Flamepaw could ever be sick or in the eyes of StarClan for possibly being taken to their lands. Of course, his brother stayed positive, cracking jokes about how he was a rat or that he would just get really fat. It was all just a joke to him but the truth of the matter was that it was Flamepaw’s time to go no matter how badly his family wanted him to stay and so one more cat was taken to StarClan.
This crushed Tigerpaw greatly as now he didn’t have his brother at his side. No more bad jokes, no more laughter, no more Flamepaw. The apprentice felt heartbroken as he felt that Flamepaw had been the one closest to him and had been unrightfully taken from him. He had always thought his brother had been better than him, better off the warrior than he was. However, things worked out in this way.
Since then, Tigerpaw has set out to be more like Flamepaw, try to force himself to be outgoing and to be that cat everybody loved. Except it is hard to be somebody you are not. Tigerpaw lacks even more confidence now and has decided to stick to his training and find a way over the very recent death.
