Twistedclaw
Age: 20 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: ShadowClan
Apprentice: None
Rank: Warrior
Crush: Feathercloud
Kin: Brothers are Lizardeye and Snaketail. Cousin to Toadpelt. Nieces are Adderkit and Ivykit.
Description: Twistedclaw is the smallest of his litter. His size is made up for by close packed muscles. His leg muscles are especially impressive. He has not an ounce of fat on his body, and it's certainly not from lack of eating. He has a firm middle, narrow chest, and broad shoulders. He's a tabby. He has a pelt that is three shades of brown. A splotch of white stretches from his chin to his chest front like a glacier. Each of his paws is dipped white as frost. His tabby markings are inky black stripes like a shadow’s claw marks. He has pale green eyes, bright with a fierce desire to live, sharp with murderous intent, and marked with soul-less pupils. His claws are very long, not literally twisted. He has rough brown pads underpaw. He has a normal-sized tail, which is oddly big on his small frame, white-tipped. White hair grows out of his rounded ears. On his short muzzle, sits a dark pink nose. He has several battle marks, but the most noticeable is the nick on his tail. The one that pains him most is the slash mark running from the base of his tail to his upper-throat, earned in his battle as an apprentice. This is not usually visible unless his fur is matted down from rain.
Personality: Now, there are many rumors about the horrible things that ShadowClan cats do. Unfortunately, Twistedclaw is the nightmare that proves those rumors could be true and spurns new ones. He is a rather merciless cat towards other Clans, towards non-kin, and especially to any cat above the age of six moons. He has no sympathy for trespassers, whatever their reason, and will give any cat daring to cross the border a good clawing just for the sake of it. He’s not a cat above torturing for information, leader’s permission or not. Most importantly, he is not a cat above killing. The only thing standing between a death blow and his enemy is a brother’s word.
Ever the bad boy, Twistedclaw is rarely expected to actually work outside of battle. Even the Leader seems reluctant to give him direct orders, better to address all three siblings at once. Only moons ago, Twistedclaw outright refused to help repair damaged dens, or go hunting, or on patrol. He liked to do what he wanted on his time, and if any cat had a problem with it they could kiss his twisted ass, his brothers being the exception to that rule. Twistedclaw pays close attention to his brother Lizardeye, the brains of the litter. He's easily influenced by his either of his brothers' opinions.
He's the best fighter of the bunch though and good with battle strategy. He's very aggressive, but respectful of cats who give him a good battle (Not many of them live to be respected). Strangely enough, despite his outspokenness and boldness, he's bashful around she-cats. Most importantly, he believes that StarClan exists...He just doesn't care about them. He does stick to the Warrior Code, though he "forgets" that he doesn't have to kill his rivals in battle.
History: This will be about the same thing for all of the brothers. Twistedkit, Lizardkit, and Snakekit were all born in the same litter. Snakekit was named for his tail, Lizardkit was named for his fur. But their mother could never explain Twistedkit's name. "It just seemed to fit." she'd reply when asked. The kits, being Newleaf born, suffered little hardship. They were all very rough when playing. And, most importantly, they were all very close.
All three were apprenticed at once. Though their mentors trained them separately, they always came together during freetime or chores. They fended off a fox (a young one) together once. They also fought in Clan battles as one single entity. Lizardpaw the brains, Snakepaw the taunter, and Twistedpaw the muscle, they were unbeatable. This battle plan has withstood the test of time.
When the time came for them to receive their warrior names, they got into their first ever fight. It was over the warrior code, which was hard to believe because they all seemed so dedicated to it. The rest of the Clan never got the details. It was only a few days after the ceremony when they came together again. From that day on they were inseparable. They hunted together, went on patrols together, and fought together. Specklestar is aware that this is a strong force that can be used for the Clan. But she fears the danger as well.
The three siblings were given three apprentices all at once, Honeypaw, Emberpaw, and Eclipsepaw. Most likely this was done to pass on their strong teamwork to an even younger generation of cats. Recently these apprentices have been made warriors. The two trios are still fairly close, but the dynamic of their relationship has much changed. No longer are they mentors and apprentices, but rather strong allies.
Also a new development is the transformation in their formerly loveless lives, minus Snaketail. Snaketail's mate died in bearing his kits, effectively making him a secret single father. He brought his kits to the Clan claiming they were "lost orphans", but the amount of affection he shows them is dangerous to the lie. Recently, he lost a dear friend of his before he could even work out how he really felt about her. The loss was hard but for his kit's sake he knows he must pull himself together.
Meanwhile, Lizardeye has been spending an unusual amount of time with a certain clanmate. At first, it seemed that he was helping in Brindlepelt's rehabilitation because he felt personally responsible for her shoulder injury. Yet now that the injury has long healed, he continues to spend time with her, sharing meals and volunteering for patrols. The effort to keep in touch is minimal, but his interest is not. If he were not so distracted by other problems, he would likely solve this puzzling fascination he has for her, but as it is, he can only keep it in the back of his mind for later.
Twistedclaw, by the order of Specklestar, has been aiding Feathercloud in gathering herbs. It has taken a long while, but he has grudgingly gotten used to the presence of the she-cat. Dare he say it? Being around Feathercloud has even become sort of pleasant. She later asked for some basic battle training, which Twistedclaw found easy to agree with. But quickly learning that she had no claw for offense, he decided to teach her defense and aversion instead. After all, she was their only medicine cat.
Roleplay example:Homework to do.
Other: Their history will all be the same.
