Spottedfur is about average size for a tom, larger than most queens but not huge by any means. Despite this fact, he is one of the most imposing cats you will ever meet. Long-limbed and angular, Spottedfur is possessed of an arrogant and commanding air that lets all who view him know that he is a competent and dangerous cat. His long frame is layered with lean but powerful muscles, which ripple smoothly under his short, glossy coat. His fur is stark white with harsh black patches that stand out startlingly, a fitting representation of his cold and deliberate demeanour. Spottedfur has dark, leaf-green eyes that are usually hard and cool, with a calculating glimmer in their depths. If you get him angry, which takes a considerable amount of effort or skill and should really be avoided at any cost, those eyes will turn to chips of ice, cold and sharp and penetrating.
h i s t o r y .Composed . Impassive . Loyal . Private . Prudent . Prideful . Satirical . Relentless
Cool and contained are two words that fit Spottedfur rather well. Of course you cannot describe this cat in only two words, because he has more sides to him than the diamonds that his eyes sometimes resemble. Though he prefers to show the world a cool, uncaring individual, inside Spottedfur is a completely loyal cat who cares deeply about his Clan. He maintains good relationships with most Clan cats and would give his own life for the good of the Clan, but some cats doubt this, as he often appears indifferent and selfish to those who don't know him well. Because of his solitary nature, few cats indeed know him well enough to realize this, as Spottedfur prefers to help the Clan quietly and avoid significant relationships with any one cat. He believes that love is a weakness to be exploited, which is why he has never allowed his loyalty towards his Clanmates to develop into anything more.
Sarcastic and somewhat arrogant, Spottedfur could also be called prideful. This would not be untrue, as he does have his fair share of pride. Spottedfur is an intelligent and lethal cat, and he knows it well. Over the many moons that he has been a warrior of RiverClan, he has used these qualities to protect and serve his Clan loyally. He has a dry and often cutting sense of humour that is rarely appreciated by other cats, as they are often the butt of the joke. Because he has only loyalty, and no true relationships with any cat in the Clan, Spottedfur holds his pride very highly and will eviscerate (physically or verbally) any cat who slights him.
Spottedfur was very different as a kit from what he is like now. The young Spottedkit was named, of course, for his black-spotted pelt, which stood out among the more solid grays and blacks of his parents and single brother. From the time that they were born, Spottedkit and Skykit were very close, always playing together and pulling pranks. Spottedkit was a friendly and outgoing kit who loved to make friends and socialize, while his brother was more quiet and thoughtful, and content to remain in the nursery while his brother romped with other kits. Despite their differances, the two had a bond stronger than many cats had ever seen. Each brother always seemed to know what the other was doing, even when they were apart, and whenever they played with other kits they could always team up perfectly and combine to fight as one unit. The two had as happy a kithood as any cat could, and soon it was time for them to be apprenticed.m o t h e r :
Spottedpaw and Skypaw were both apprenticed to stern, experienced mentors. Skypaw got along famously with his own mentor, as he was a dedicated and rule-abiding apprentice who would follow directions without question. Spottedpaw's apprenticeship didn't go quite as smoothly. Though he quickly became a skilled fighter and learned the Warrior Code be heart, his lazy humour and impish nature lead to frustration on his mentor's part. Nevertheless, both apprentices were progressing well when, during their ninth moon, the river flooded. Skypaw was on a hunting patrol with the apprentices' mother, Reedpool, and his mentor Redthorn, when a huge flood surge suddenly swept him into the water. Reedpool leapt into the river to try and help him, but the flood waters were to strong: both cats were swept downriver and never seen again. When the news arrived at camp, Spottedpaw was not there. Agonized by the greif he felt as he experienced his brother's death, he had already slipped off to mourn by himself.
When Spottedpaw returned to camp, it was late that evening. He was informed of the disappearance and assumed death of his mother and brother, and accepted the death of Reedpool without comment. He was completely drained, and couldn't summon a single tear as he sat silent vigil in the clearing that night, unable even to share tongues with the bodies of the ones he had loved. But the next day, a change had come over Spottedpaw. He did not become depressed, or angry, or paranoid. He didn't rage or cry or collapse. Instead he hardened, until he had built a wall of iron control around himself. For the rest of his apprenticeship Spottedpaw was completely dedicated to his training, honing his fighting skills and his intellect, and becoming one of the most advanced apprentices in the Clan. At exactly twelve moons of age, Spottedfur sat silent vigil as a new warrior of RiverClan. Gone as the easygoing prankster that had played with his brother and deeply cared for his mother. In his place was a reasonable, mature cat who treated the warrior code with utmost respect and trained diligently in his spare time. He was polite to his Clanmates and a reliable warrior in battle. And he did smile and joke, as he once had.
But the smile never reached his eyes.

Figured You Out by Nickelback
I hate the places that we go
And I hate the people that you know
And I hate the way you can't say no
Too many long lines in a row
I hate the powder on your nose
And now I know who you are
It wasn't that hard
Just to figure you out
