Name: Kalahar
Age: 28 moons
Gender: She-cat
Love Interest: Simón (secretly)
Cutter: No
Collar: A pretty emerald green one
Kin:
Tubby;; father, NPC
Jewel;; mother, NPC
Alexis;; sister, NPC
Appearance:
As a pure bred cat, she carries all the classic traits of her breed. A Turkish Angora, she carries a very high standard in the way of looks. For one, her coat is of medium length, fluffy and soft to the touch. However, she could never be a wild cat for she lacks a warm undercoat, making winter time a very hard ordeal for her. One good reason to stay a kittypet. She has a luscious cream coat that is apparently a trait they were trying to breed out to more cats, since the cream was a color buyers (not show people) wanted. But the Angora side stands out by the extremely paleness of this color, only faintly coming out with the cream. She has a large head and ears, normal for her breed but abnormal for a cat. A long, plume tail accompanies her fluffy coat, more show of her show cat heritage. She has beautiful almond shaped eyes. They are an excellent pale green hue, almost yellowish in tone in the right light. She looks like a show cat through and through, a kittypet that would stand no chance in the wild world.
Personality:
Sharp & Thorny;; Honestly, Kalahar defines “do not mess with me” to a T. She is not a cat that is easily pushed around and definitely not the type that anybody wants to just randomly greet without taking caution. Sarcastic and snappy, she tends to be witty in the worst way possible. She tends to not think before she speaks and may say things she doesn’t want to intentionally speak aloud. However, this same quick reaction can be good because she’s smart. But only smart with logic. Smart with emotions and the heart are a matter she has never dared cross before. And refuses to cross. It’s so soft, why would she want to cross that?History:
Seductive & Feminine;; She isn’t oblivious. She knows what she is and who she is and knows what the toms would want. However, she believes far more into watching them squirm. A little vindictive, yes, but this logical thinking cat would prefer to watch them hope and dream over it. It would make no sense why they like her anyways. In her mind, that is. So she definitely has a flirty, twisted side in her that can come out if provoked. She does have a natural feminist side, almost a “toms need to see us as equals” type of thing. She’s strong on her own but would never want to give up what she has to be a tom in a tom’s world. She’s fine with who she is (mostly.)
Fiery & Assertive;; Temper, temper, temper. It doesn’t take much to light the match and throw it into this flammable concoction. Kalahar has little control on her biting temper issue and others suffer from that. Plus she has very little fear of tackling a fight. Outwardly, of course. Inwardly, there’s a lot more vulnerability than anybody may realize. She pushes her temperamental and passionate self onto others to show them she is strong. However, she’s got a soft heart and tends to just try to cover it up so she doesn’t have to worry about a bad tom or losing people she loves, as she lost her sister. One would have to be courageous to bother going up against this girl and trying to crack her armor.
Simple and sweet, this pure-bred Angora cat is the production of forced human interaction. Just an attempt to breed more of these pure-breds. Tubby, the father, was never involved in her life though she heard very often from her mother that he was a good cat. She could only assume he was since her life was fairly blocked off from the real world. For a while, her world consisted of odd brown walls and strange “leaves” that were her floor. Then a large pelt on one side where her and her sister could rest on. It was fluff, but not like her mother’s fur. It felt so fake. Something wasn’t right about it. Why did it feel so wrong?
When she was old enough, a twoleg came and picked her up from the box (this had happened before but she had been allowed very little freedom of wandering around.) Along with her only sibling, the two kits were taken away from their mother without much choice. She wanted so bad to have her mother, not this twoleg that took her from the man-made world and put her in a new home, one with much bigger walls and many, many types of pelts all around- some even on the floor!
They started to call her Kalahar, then her sister Sahara. The sisters were very glad they had each other throughout this whole ordeal. It was traumatizing since they had very little experience outside of their former lives. Plus without their mother, they could only assume everything. The humans would feed them, sometimes with milk that failed to replicate their mother’s, or dry pellets that lacked flavor at all. It wasn’t the life she wanted, but it was at least a life at all.
In this household, Sahara bloomed into a very social and loving she-cat, preferring the company of twolegs over cats. Kalahar failed to do that, actually being more reclusive and spending more time exploring. They turned out very different and this caused problems. When the two sisters used to get along, now fought and bickered and clawed at each other which left their house in turmoil for the twolegs. The twolegs had wanted to keep them both but it was impossible to handle it. So one day, later into their first year of life, Sahara was put up for adoption and adopted by an elderly couple down the street. Her name was changed to Alexis and she started instantly to dislike her sister. Kalahar had always loved her sister, even if her sister had been a cuddling weakling.
Kalahar went over one afternoon to apologize her sister except she got a claw scratch to the nose instead. Alexis said she wanted nothing to do with her and demanded she never return to her garden. Kalahar pleaded her apologies, saying she just wanted her sister back now that she had grown lonely in the empty house. Alexis wanted nothing to do with it though. She was angry that she had been up for adoption, not Kalahar. The she-cat returned to her home and decided Alexis wasn’t worth the fight.
Kalahar was bitter about it, yes. It had been her sister who failed to forgive her. (A year later, her sister would leave when the old couple moved away from the area.) She also disliked her twolegs more when they tried to breed her. It explains why she was never to the cutter, she was nothing but a pure-bred cat they wanted for kits! She was infuriated and clawed them and the tom and went a year avoiding that. However, she fears that it may come again. This vindictive she-cat is definitely a challenge since she seems to want to fight everything. Good luck to anybody willing to get around her.
