Description:
Tall, crystallized eyes, short pelt, white fur
A single glance at Icepaw, and you can tell she is a tall
apprentice. Her legs aren't stout, yet they aren't longer than her
body. They seemed to have outgrown her body, for she
occasionally trips over her paws. Clumsy much? Anyway, her
height makes her the tallest of her siblings, even if it is only by a
tad bit. It's the notice that counts, right?
One thing that she shares among her siblings, it is her crystal-
seeming blue eyes. As bright as they are, hers seems to darken
as they do not show enthusiasm. As the pattern of a crystal, at
first encounter, they seem brighter than what they really are.
Another feature much like her siblings is the same pelt. Same
white color, same short length. pretty bland. Yet, it is the
coloration of the fur that can be extraordinary. It can be the
same shade as snow, or the same shade as a cloud in the bright
sky. The length of her fur, compared to her littermates, is actually
shortest, just barely above her skin.
Personality:
Prepared, strict, slow to trust others
In order to predict what comes next, a cat must be prepared.
Icepaw takes after trying to be a ready, steady cat, one that is
ready for anything at all. Fazing isn't an option with her, and she
tries /not/ to be fazed by intimidation. Yet, a larger and stronger
warrior stands before you, threatening you... Ack, I would be
intimidated, too.
Even though her frame suggests an easy-going she-cat, she
most defiantly is not one. The way she talks, it is almost as if
ordering one to do whatever she says, or agree to it, whatever it
may be. Her tone is sharp, and she tends to be more ill tempered
than her siblings, practically being irate at every moment of the day.
Trusting other cats really isn't easy with Icepaw and her
standards. She just doesn't lay her spirit for anyone to take; that
cat must earn their keep in her heart. Breaking anything that can
disturb that trust can mean absolutely anything to the she-cat,
from heartbreak to a deep claw wound in her anger. Trust issues
she might have, but those issues can be mended quickly.
History:
Love knew no boundaries. Both the tom, Flipperpaw, and the she-
cat, Dawnpaw, were in a deep romance. Though, they decided to
wait until they were warriors to have their kits they wanted so
very badly. Though, the tom couldn't help himself at all, and the
night before their ceremony, well, things happened he wasn't proud of.
It was about a bit after two moons after they were warriors when
Dawntail had her kits; a trio of pure white ones. Even though
one was a tom, she couldn't help but feel that it was a mistake,
and he was in fact a she-cat. Flipperwhisker, however, took in
the tom with pride, for he had a son.
The she-cat had named each of them for their fur: Icekit and
Snowkit for the she-cats, and Sleetkit for the tom. All of her life,
Icekit was called Snowkit, and it was vice-versa. Sleetkit never
really got his name switched until a little later, once he began
speaking. He did sound awfully feminine, the poor little tom...
"Hey Snowkit!" One warrior would call to her, and she would
respond indignantly, "I'm ICEkit, you idiot!" Yes, she was
quite feisty as a kit, yet when the days passed onward, she
ignored the fact that every single cat was calling her either
Sleetkit or Snowkit, when she was neither, and was Icekit.
Icekit. Icekit. ICEKIT!
Get it right!
Even when she became an apprentice, the leader messed it all
up. What the heck happened? When it was her turn, he just
repeated Snowpaw's ceremony, until the deputy corrected him.
Oh, great StarClan, was she irate. She could have sworn that
she cursed aloud at her leader, angry at him. But, she didn't.
Even though she wanted to. Badly.
She received a decent enough mentor that actually got her
name /right/, and not incorrect. She is still irate at times, because
of the occasional slip-up, though she does not matter any longer.
Just make sure to get her warrior name right!
