Personality:
One of the first things many notice about Slatepaw is her bright bubble of jovial confidence. Wherever she goes and whatever she’s doing, she always has an I-can-do-it air about her that leads even the most skeptical warriors to believe she’s capable. This belief is often misplaced. Despite her winning attitude, her tendency to try short-cuts and tricks often leaves her defeated in the wake of more hard-working apprentices. Not to say she doesn’t work, she’ll put in as much effort as she needs to… But if she sees an opportunity to skip a step or two she will take it without a second thought. Her small failures don’t keep her down for long, though, and she’s often back on her feet and springing around camp in pursuit of ladybugs within minutes.
Optimistic and always ready to give a good pep talk, Slatepaw is known for her cheerful demeanor no matter what the circumstances. She could be shuddering with green cough in the medicine den and she’d still have a joke to tell; the times where Slatepaw is in a bad mood are few and far between. Those times do come by once in a while though, and it isn’t something you’d want to witness. She becomes sullen and unresponsive, lacking the motivation to perform even the most basic of tasks. Her highs are highs and often, and her lows and seldom but very, very low. It’s rare that any cat upsets Slatepaw deeply enough to pull her down into one of her terrible moods, so you probably don’t have anything to worry about. Probably.[/ul]
