Description: Smokepaw lives up to his name. His fur is colored gray-black and light green eyes. He's built like most WindClan cats: born to run. The look suits him as well. His slender long legs and lithe build make him look very handsome. In some places, like on the top of his head and his lower back, the fur darkens just a bit. These are the only things that could pass for markings on his rather plain pelt. It does, however, make him look a little snake-like. There's just something about the shape of his head combined with his build that makes him resemble a snake. Smokepaw always has a serious, down-to-earth look about him. There's an intelligent glimmer in his eyes, showing wisdom beyond his tears. Though the apprentice always seems to look slightly bored. Many say that he's looked that way since he was kitted. Like the world was simply too easy to figure out to be interesting.
Personality: Smokepaw is as serious as he looks. While he is an obedient and intelligent apprentice, he does not know the meaning of fun. There isn't a drop of humor in his blood. Only stark honesty and facts. If you're a lousy hunter, he'll say so. If you just missed a very easy kill, Smokepaw will be the one to tell you. Though not everything he says is negative; Smokepaw will praise you highly if you do something worth praising. This makes cats either love the apprentice or hate him. Smokepaw also always looked at things from a logical and skeptical point of view. Despite this, he has a firm belief in StarClan and their mysterious ways. Smokepaw is also fiercely loyal to WindClan.
History: Smokepaw was orphaned a few days after birth. His kitting had many complications and his mother died before his eyes were opened. He and his siblings were raised by another queen. Smokekit showed interesting qualities from the start. He often did not wish to play and romp, like the usual kit did. Smokekit instead observed the warriors, spending as much time with them as he could. He watched them wrestle with each other and run through the camp. No one knew what he was doing until Smokekit began to imitate their fighting moves. They were imperfect, but he had showed promise. Though many worried about his social life, or lack there of. A few press him to play with the other kits and stressed how important it was to learn to play and interact with others. It never took, it seems.
Smokekit became Smokepaw within good time. The day he became an apprentice was the proudest day of his life. Smokekit groomed his fur to perfection so that he could look dignified and proud at the ceremony. It was probably the only time he actually ever showed any excitement or extreme happiness for that matter. He proved to be a diligent, hard-working apprentice. Many still worry about how he interacts with other cats, but most argue that as long as he is loyal and hard working it does not matter. Smokepaw, so far, has shown no advances towards building friendships with other apprentices. Nor has he shown any indication that he wants to.
