Description:
Mintleaf comes very close to being an almost pure white cat. She is obviously a calico, and has other colors to her pelt, but the main base color is white. Spread across her back, tail, and face, is patches of brown fur. The she-cat has only two spots of black on her, one being on her face, and the other on her back. Speaking of her fur, Mintleaf has very soft fur that covers her entire body. It is also of medium length, but grows a little longer the closer to leafbare it is. She has long legs, which work perfectly for hunting, or trying to chase down naughty kits. The pads on her paws are a blackish-grey color, and just accent her fur well. Both her ears and nose are a healthy pink color, and are a nice contrast to her paw pads.
Mintleaf is pretty plain, she’s average sized for a WindClan cat, and has the average WindClan muscles. Nothing special is in that department. The only distinct feature she has is a small scratch on the tip of her tail, thanks to her blind sister’s claws as an apprentice. And finally we come to Mintleaf’s eyes. They are a beautiful yellowish color, with a tint of a darker yellow in the corners of each eye.
Personality:
Mintleaf is one cat in life that is easy to be friends with. She’s very social, and loves to talk with others. She’s trustworthy and knows how to keep a secret, and is very loyal to her Clan. She’s not one of those cats that is serious all the time, and she loves a good laugh. There are times when she is needed to be serious, and at those times she is, but there’s no point being so serious all the time.
Now that she has four kits to raise, Mintleaf is somewhat stressed. She didn’t expect to have kits this early on in life, that’s for sure. She is very protective of all of her kits, and really just wants what is best for them. When they were younger and just beginning to see the world, she made sure to keep them as close to her as possible. But now that they are a little older, she has settled down a little. She lets them go out of the nursery, as long as they have a sibling with them, and enjoys watching them grow. They each have their own little personalities, and though she will miss being a queen, she knows they have to grow up eventually.
History:
Mintleaf was born into the WindClan along with her sister, Dusk-kit. It was Sorrelspot and Earthstripe's first litter, and so the two she-kits had much fun together. Everything seemed normal at first, until it was realized Dusk-kit was blind. Mintkit didn't mind, she was still Dusk-kit's sister and nothing would change that. She loved her sister dearly and even though Dusk-kit had a disadvantage the two kits never really noticed it, or well Mintkit pretended not to notice.
Soon enough the two were made apprentices together, and Mintpaw was always looking after her sister. Even though Mintpaw was the younger of the two, she took the role of helping her sister out. Soon after they were apprenticed their mother gave birth to a new kit, and the apprentices had a new baby sister, Mousekit. Mintpaw adored her baby sister, always visiting when she wasn't training or helping Dustpaw with her training.
One day while Mintpaw and Duskpaw were out training, a badger attacked and killed Duskpaw. The apprentice stood no chance, only being two moons into their training, and being blind also helped little. Mintpaw saw it all happen, and stood there frozen. She couldn't save her sister, her mentor had held her back. Mintpaw never really got over the loss of her sister but knew that Duskpaw would want her to continue on with her training. Mintpaw could be found in the nursery with her mother and sister most of the time, not wanting to face the empty apprentice den without Dustpaw. She grieved for a while, but then several moons later she was given the name Mintleaf.
Mintleaf fell in love with a tom, Thistlefrost, right after her warrior ceremony. The two spent plenty of time together, and he helped her feel loved for the first time in a while. He helped her get over her sister's death and lead her to realize it wasn't her fault. Mintleaf soon found out she was expecting her first litter of kits, with Thistlefrost being the father.
The she-cat gave birth to four healthy kits: Dewkit, Kestrelkit, Cedarkit, and Dawnkit. Just before the kits reached their third moon, her mate was killed by falling into the gorge. It devestated her, and she doesn't know how she is going to do it without his help. He helped out with the kits so much.
