Description:
Ripplepaw is your average lean muscled WindClan cat. She is averaged sized, not too small, and not too big. The apprentice doesn't have the long hair of her brother, thankfully, yet it isn't short either. Ripplepaw is a white cat, similar to Thistlefrost. Also like her brother she has brown patches everywhere. The difference between her and Thistlefrost is her patches of brown are a very light brown color. Ripplepaw has patches on her face and a few on her stomach that are sienna colored. The most distinctive of her patches is one on her back. When her coat is groomed, the patch looks like a swirl, or a ripple in a pond. Ripplepaw’s eyes are the brightest blue you will ever see. They are very beautiful and look like blue crystals.
Personality:
Ripplepaw has calmed down a bit in her old age. She used to be a cat who hated pretty much everyone other than her brother, Thistlefrost. Once her brother began to ignore her, Ripplepaw became less rude and divalike and became more quiet and reserved. She is far more well behaved than she once was, and it seems that since she has been ignored her personality has done a complete one-eighty.
She will listen to more cats now, Bristlepaw has helped her with this. And the comments that she would speak when another cat spoke to her have stopped. Nothing about her is rude anymore. Once she found out her brother had passed away, nothing about her is right. Ripplepaw just feels completely alone in the world now. She still refuses to see her brother's kits and does not like them in the least little bit. This is the only part of the 'old Ripplepaw' still left in her.
Really, you don't have to worry about her anymore. She's not necessarily friendly, but she isn't rude and disrespectful. Ripplepaw is somewhat antisocial, and will talk if spoken to, but isn't one to strike up a conversation on her own.
History:
Ripplepaw was born the only kit of her litter to her parents. Her parents had a previous litter, several moons previous, in which her brother Thistlefrost was born in. Ripplekit was an overly excited kit who was into everything and anything she could get ahold of. This could involve annoying any apprentice or warrior she could find, or trying her best to aggrevate the elders. Although she was troublesome, she never tried to sneak out of camp. Ripplekit never thought of that as a possibility. She enjoyed most when her big brother would come and visit her. She had plenty of attention, which suited her personality perfectly. She was the center of both parents, and Thistlefrost's attention. What more could she ask? Being the only she-kit from both litters, she was treated like a little princess, and spoiled rotten.
When Ripplekit was old enough she became Ripplepaw and was mentored by the only cat who could keep her in line, and who could keep a straight face with her. Thistlefrost has trouble himself sometimes, but he knows its for Ripplepaw's good to punish her sometimes. Her brother was her first and only choice for a mentor, little did she know her wish to have Thistlefrost as a mentor would come true.
So far Ripplepaw has actually listened to her brother when it came to training, but only when it came to training. She may not listen to him for anything else, but at least she is learning something. Since Thistlefrost spends his time lately in the nursery with his new kits, Ripplepaw had been feeling a little jealous. She was used to being the center of his attention and now the kits are. It was like she had suddenly become unimportant. She refused to see the kits, and even when they came out of the nursery she would snap at them.
Then the worst day of her life happened. Ripplepaw was still asleep and after much persuasion from his mate, Thistlefrost went out on a patrol with several other cats. Little did he know this would be his last patrol to ever go on. When Ripplepaw woke up, there was no body to mourn, or anything. It had hit her hard. She hadn't said a word to her brother since the kits were born, and he was soon to train her again. She saw all the looks of pity, and Ripplepaw just couldn't deal with it. Her idol was no longer with her, and all that was left of him were four kits, who he spent all his time with.
Ripplepaw wasn't the same after that day. She doesn't speak much at all, only if spoken to, and now listens, actually listens to other cats. It's like she's in a trance that she just can't wake up from.
