StarClan, look down on me
Let my heart run wild and free
Among these fields of gold...

The gorge.
Normally, the calico she-cat would never really think about coming this close to one of the boundaries of her Clan, especially this one. The water, cutting deep below her, several foxlengths, if she could estimate, could easily drown a cat, easily break bones due to the pounding water's possible strength. Not that she knew what the water could do; that was what Riverclan cats were for, practically living in the water. How they managed to like it was well beyond Sorrelheart, not like she even cared in the first place.
Her question, however, was how in the name of Starclan did she get here?
All she remembered before hearing the roaring waters was her dashing across the territory of Windclan, in hot pursuit of a dusty brown rabbit, one that she would, with no hesitation, give to the senior warriors. Yet, she was distracted for no more than a moment, thus allowing the prey that should have been hers to run away, back toward its burrow, perhaps.
Though, currently, the young warrior was watching the water below, round amber eyes just staring at the flowing water. Not that she wanted to try jumping into that, mind you. Sometimes, someone has to just wait a while and be patient. It wasn't like she was going to die or anything; she made sure that her paws were not completely on the edge of the cliff, for several times, cats had said that the edges were unstable, occasionally breaking free if weight happened to weigh it down.
Her thoughts were so focused, so uncluttered, that she barely even knew that there could be someone behind her, ready to surprise her. No, she did not even pay the closest attention to a possible scent overhead. Her delicate paws just stayed where they were, her plumy tail occasionally flicking to the side. Sorrelheart was actually.. at peace. For once, anyways.
...nothing back to hold
