Description:
Leafstorm is a pure mixture of both Spider and Rosepetal. She has a slim figure, lithe and slender for the ability to be quite flexible in battle. She has the same shape as her mother does though she has longer legs thanks to her kittypet father.
While her mother has a coat of short, creamy fur, Leafstorm has a sleek pelt of a smoky-white mix. It's the darkest on her tail and face and also along her back. Her chest, under jaw, paws, and underbelly are all close to the creamy color her mother is. She has a similar muzzle to her mother's but it's longer and not as plump. Her ears are large for her head which seems natural in her bloodline.
Leafstorm's whiskers are a bright white but short for a cat's. The nose on the end of her face is a dark gray color. The only strong connection she has to Rosepetal is the eyes. Her mother's are that astonishing orange. Slightly lighter thanks to Spider, the light tawny color is the major show to her relation to Rosepetal.
Personality:
No cat seems to be more different from the parents than Leafstorm. Her father is a gentle, playful tom while her mother is a timid, shy she-cat. None of these are Leafstorm. This she-cat is full of pride and isn't afraid to speak her mind.
If you make her mad, be sure to step out of the way from flying claws. She hates anybody that dares to offend her or her mother. Sure, they were loners before. That doesn't mean she isn't a strong warrior. Being Adderstar's former apprentice, she takes great show in pointing out that she is just as good as the others are.
Next, she is offended easily. Any sign that one is going to deride her timid mother or her ancestory will not hear the last of it. She has been known to hold grudges so the cat she's mad at better be quick to earn forgiveness because she'll carry it until death.
Lastly is her pride. Adderstar never stifled her so she always was quick to puff her chest up at the talk of something she has done or something that makes SkyClan only better. Her nose sometimes is said to be sniffing the clouds from how high she holds it.
History:
Born beside Darkness, Leaf knew only one thing in life when it began for her. That was play and caution. Rose, as her mother was then known as, constantly tried to stop her kit from being overly exposed to the world. Leaf was an intelligent kit compared to her burly brother, Darkness. She listened to her mother's night-talk and often heard the word "spider" thrown around often.
She was hardly three moons old when Darkness (the dumb one of the duo) explained how he wished to wander off and explore the world. Sensible Leaf told him no and stayed put. He did not listen, of course, and wandered away as he said he would do. Leaf patiently waited where she was. The cold air of the badger's nest made her feel terrified. Dusk has set ages ago when her mother returned. Darkness had not joined her.
Rose didn't hesitate to explain to Leaf the importance of life and death, of the whereabouts of her brother, and of the fear hidden inside her. The she-kit didn't understand her mother's worry but did as she always had: she followed. There was no sign in Leaf that she was going to change so rapidly. She had always been a talkative kit, speaking about her own adventures and how they always ended with her becoming a leader of a group of loners.
As a kit, she liked exploring somewhat. It got tiring when, by her fourth moon, they had traveled far away from their former home and the resting place of Darkness. Rose was too protective of Leaf and the kit did not understand why they were chased away so often. Rose did manage to find one group of cats willing to accept them. At five moons old, Leaf was told she'd be Leafkit now. SkyClan, as the group called themselves, took care of the youngster while sending glares at Rosepetal (her mother's new name) for some odd reason.
Becoming Leafpaw felt like the biggest accomplishment of her life. Addertooth was a fine warrior, the son of Firestripe and Goldenfeather. She had admired him because he was one of the few warriors to not give a glance of malice theire way. Then again, he didn't give them a glance. Leafpaw worked twice as hard, or so she thought, as the others. She didn't work hard on feeding the elders or hunting. She worked hard with her claws. Sometimes the ones she practiced on were not so lucky as her mentor was.
Leafpaw was earning a repuation for being proud and violent. When Addertooth became deputy, it was only more fuel to the burning inferno of boisterous joy in her. Leafpaw did not understand why her mother hated watching her grow up and fight. Even worse were the times when rogues began attacking the Clan. Leafpaw was thrilled to fight while it was quite the opposite for Rosepetal.
It was strange when the leader died and her mentor, her mentor of all cats, became the leader. Adderstar instantly made her a warrior, Leafstorm, after only a mere eleven moons of training. She wasn't afraid to give snide remarks to those that doubted the loner's kit.
Leafstorm still kept some show if care in her. This especially was true on the return of Adderstar after a fight with rogues. She never did stop calling him a stupid tom for going after five rogues alone. He was like the father she needed, the one Rosepetal failed to provide her with. To this day, she only knows that her father is a long ways away and she had no desire to see him. In fact, she would rather sink her claws into that tom's throat rather than see him.
Now that she's twenty moons, she's deciding that it's time to really work on herself and not just the Clan. Find a mate and be a real Clan cat. She doesn't want to be seen differently from the others like her so she is trying to blend in as Rosepetal would. Now, where to find that accepting tom?...
