If you should ask then maybe they'd tell you what I would say [/i]
The warrior entered the elder's den with an air of anger floating around him. From his narrow jaws dangled a rabbit and a mouse. The rabbit was a rare catch and it definitely looked very fine for any meal. But for the warrior, it was not his to eat. It was the elders'. The golden tabby dropped it heavily and snorted at the sight of the still clear-eyed rabbit. It stared back at him, open mouthed with no air filling its lungs. He stared at its black pupils and felt his own eyes glass over with memories of those sweet, sweet seeds Earthfoot controled. A poppy seed was a beautiful thing!
True colors fly in blue and black
The senior warrior blinked away the feeling of yearning and stared up at the elders. He saw the only she-cat, Doveheart, first and gave a rough nudge to the prey he had set down before them. "Apprentices are busy," he said. His voice was hoarse, rough as if he had yelled all day yesterday until now it only gave a sound of claws on gravel. "I was told to deliver prey. Eat up."
Bruised silken sky and burning flag
Cricketwing had hardly noticed he had started shivering again. The lack of poppy seeds was causing him to tremble at every day. He hated wind because one soft breeze sent him into a trembling mass of fur and legs. One that did not know him would've assumed he was extremely cold all the time. But the truth was, his addiction was still out of control. Cricketwing's thoughts revolved around how to pester Sagepaw or Earthfoot into giving him a couple seeds. It was torture after all. Then an idea popped into his head. "Hey, hey, any of you need Earthfoot?" he squealed. "I-I can go fetch him! He and Sagepaw can help you." His glassy eyes were instantly bright at the idea. Maybe, just maybe, he could finally get his paws on some poppy seeds!
Colors crash, collide in blood shot eyes [/size]
