((I love writing these two together. Their personalities are so much fun and they mix well together. =3 This is just a random thread of them talking so anyone is welcome to pop in and join.))
"And then the place exploded with yowls and everyone was yelling at once! Even the ShadowClan cats looked confused. I guess Specklestar hadn't told them. But still, can you imagine it? It was getting close to a fight, but luckily things calmed down. StarClan hadn't said anything; there were no clouds. It was just weird." Heathertail kept going on as she told him about the Gathering. She was pacing back and forth in front of the Outlook Rock, trying to remember every piece of what happened, her dusty-brown tail trailing over the side of the stone as she thought.
"Most of our Clan is angry at the idea," she went on, "But Foxfur is my friend, you know? I had to side with him. He deserves to see his kits just as much as anyone." Her eyes narrowed. "Harewhisker, of course, doesn't want to give the kits up. I don't think he'll even consider how Foxfur feels. He got mad at me for supporting him. Great StarClan, it's not the end of the world if I do!" Heathertail exclaimed and then sighed dramatically. "He's not talking to me, the stubborn furball."
Laying on top of the rock, paws tucked underneath him, Dustfur thought about what she said. "If it bothers you so much, then go talk it out with him." he said simply, looking out across WindClan's territory as he watched the sun rise. "Or not, since you know he'll get over it eventually." Careful with his words, he tried not to get himself involved in the fight. It was pointless to him; Heathertail was obviously exaggerating.
"Are you mousebrained? I can't do that! You're no help at all." she sat down, her tail whipping over the short grass.
"Fine, then. Don't say I didn't try to help." And that was all he was going to say. She knew that. Heathertail sighed. Knowing this fight was just like all the others they've had in their lives relaxed her a little but she knew this time it was slightly different. This involved issues between Clans, not just the two of them.
