Okay guys, here’s the rundown.
A local radio station near my town is hosting a campaign. They’re trying to get 400,000 letters to be sent to troops stationed outside of America. We’re talking troops all over the world. They’re not going to be home for Thanksgiving. That’s right. Nobody to share dinner with besides their fellow troops. Maybe, if they’re lucky, a letter from their family on time. But due to Facebook, email, texting, all that jazz, very few people ever hand-write them letters anymore, so receiving a letter is slim for these men and women that are serving our country.
So, here’s where I need help. I have the time to write. However, I can only write up so much with originality. Besides, I thought this was a great opportunity for anybody interested. Now, I know this will come off bad for some people and I just want to say you can trust me to the fullest, I am no stalker and I have no interest what so ever in the information you’ll give me.
I basically am requesting you all to write me a letter that I will hand-write for you to send to these troops. Add in an email or home address, you might get a response! I really want to send as many letters as possible to these troops and I need more than one mind to do it. There are some limits and rules, of course:

I really want to send as many letters as possible to these troops and I need more than one mind to do it. There are some limits and rules, of course:
1. One page long. Regular college rule paper. So don’t go writing a 3k word letter that can’t be mushed together neatly into a one page letter.Multiples are fine, you can make several but I refuse to do repeats. Every soldier deserves to have something special and individual. I know not everybody here may celebrate Thanksgiving. They may not be American. But that isn’t what matters. What matters is that we’re trying to brighten the day of somebody who can’t be home, who’s stationed out there needing somebody to tell them that they are being thought of, that they’re not shipped out and forgotten. It’s all for them, folks. Please, I could use anybody that is willing to write me up anything. I would appreciate it. I’d love to help this radio station reach the 400,000 letter mark even with only a few to give. Sometimes one letter can make a huge difference.
2. Be heartfelt. These are men and women that don’t get to be with their families and they might be down in spirits thinking nobody is truly thankful for what they do. I want to show them that they CAN be thankful and they know that we’re thankful for them.
3. Please, no politics at all. Rules state that any letter deemed political or containing political matter will be destroyed. And destroyed is the correct term used, quoting it. They don’t need to be hearing about that, they just need to know appreciation right now.
4. No pictures can be sent with these, sorry. Just words.
5. This will require at least a name, first name. Last name if requested. Please include an email or address, though it’s not required. You can trust me, I guarantee you that. I seriously have no interest or time to go stalking all of you. Besides, I’m a bad multi-stalker.
6. Post them here or Pm them to me, it will all be in secrecy if you PM them to me. No information will be given out to anybody else besides me and the troop receiving these letters.
I also solemnly swear to not change wording of your letters. But please, keep them clean. So long as you trust me as I will be transcribing them to paper. But I figured I could get you all a chance to show your appreciation for the soliders.
