Name: Spottedsky
Age: 44 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: SkyClan
Apprentice: Open
Rank: Warrior
Mate/Crush: Unknown
Kin: Ravenflight (Brother, deceased); Smudgeclaw (Son, Frosty); Smallpaw (Nephew)
Description: Spottedsky doesn't look like the most friendly cat. Her amber eyes always seem to be narrowed and looking you over. Calculating and cold, Spottedsky looks like she's sizing you up half of the time. Her pelt is short and white with splashes of black. While Spottedsky has the traditional SkyClan features, she has a few oddities. For instance her body and legs are a bit long. Almost like a cat from WindClan. Her claws are also unusually long for a cat like her. She prides herself in these claws, which she uses to her best advantage during hunts and the occasional battle. Her tail is also a bit bushier than usual, giving her a slightly squrriel-like appearance from time to time. All in all, if Spottedsky is stalking towards you with her fur bristled, claws unsheathed, and eyes narrowed, no one would blame you if you got scared.
Personality: Spottedsky can't be described as 'grumpy' or 'mean.' Nor is she a 'diva' or 'stuck-up.' The more accurate terms would be more along the lines of proud, down-to-earth, and no-nonsense. Spottedsky simply does not have time for daydreaming or pointless foolishness. This she-cat knows just how cruel and heartless this world of theirs could be. Which is why all she wants to do is serve her Clan to the best of her ability. She's proud of her abilities and wouldn't hesitate to critque someone else. Another quirk about this cat is that she seems to still treat her daughter and nephew, who she considers a son more than anything else, as if they were still two kits rather than apprentices. Most of the time cats seem to excuse it since they are her only kin left. Though she seems oblivious to the fact that it's highly embarassing for both apprentices.
History: Spottedsky was born, of course, as Spottedkit. She and one brother, named Ravenkit. The two not only looked alike, they acted alike. As a result they were the best of friends. Whatever one did, the other did. They played together, slept beside each other, they even seemed to get sick together. One time they caught a case of kit cough. At the exact same time. Their parents were astounded. Luckily, both kits recovered quickly and continued on as if nothing had ever really happened.
When Spottedsky became an apprentice, she and her brother weren't able to spend as much time together. It was extremely difficult at first. The two were usually joined at the hip, after all. Eventually both young cats accepted that they could no longer be together all the time. But they still cherished every bit of time they got together. They both flew through their apprenticeship with few hitches. Both were very gifted when it came to fighting, and would often practice with each other. It was amusing for the other apprentices to watch, as it just looked like a whirl of black and white. In the beginning Spottedpaw almost always won the battles. But as Ravenpaw grew, he began to beat her.
Just as they'd become apprentices together, both cats became warriors together. Ravenpaw became Ravenflight and Spottedpaw became Spottedsky. It wasn't long after that did another young warrior catch his eye. She was a moon or two older than them and very pretty. Her name was Dovesong. Ravenflight began to court her, much to Spottedsky's dislike. She had never like the she-cat. She was dramatic, flirty, and a diva. The exact type that Spottedsky hated. But for Ravenflight's sake she tried to act civil towards the she-cat.
Spottedsky shocked the Clan when she was 32 moons old. She told their leader that she would soon be having kits. No one had ever attempted to court Spottedsky, as she clearly rejected all advances. Ravenflight visited her in the nursery and inquired about the father. Spottedsky refused to tell even her brother. Though she did say that she was never willing to have kits, and never would be. But all the same she would love them. Ravenflight was angered by this and demanded to know who had done this to her. Spottedsky still refused to tell her suddenly protective brother. It was their first and last argument.
After another moon, Dovesong joined her in the nursery. Spottedsky gave birth to a single kit one moon later. She named the kit Softkit, for her very soft brown tabby pelt. Ravenflight was overjoyed for his sister. He noted the kit's pelt, and was particularly cold to all the brown tabby toms in the Clan for the next moon. When Softkit was nearly a moon old, Ravenflight was accidentally killed on the Thunderpath. Dovesong was grief-stricken. The she-cat refused to eat or eat the herbs that helped produce milk. Spottedsky, worried for both she-cat and the unborn kits, helped the medicine cat persuade her to eat. But even Spottedsky couldn't convince her all the time. A few days after Ravenflight's deatj, Dovesong gave birth. One of her kits was still-born, while the other two were disturbingly tiny. Dovesong died a few days later.
Spottedsky stepped in. She nursed the two kits, both toms. Dovesong had refused to name them, so that honor was left to Spottedsky. She named one Crowkit and the other Smallkit. As they grew, it was discovered that Crowkit was blind. Smallkit was also very hard of hearing in one of his ears. Spottedsky blamed their birth mother for their disabilities. Smallkit could still grow and become a warrior, but what of Crowkit? All the same, Spottedsky loved them both as her own. Softkit took to them instantly and became the 'leader' of their group. One day an fall from a high rock killed poor Crowkit and injured Smallkit. Softkit, who was healthy and stronger than both kits, was unharmed. But Spottedsky became extremely protective of both kits. Even more so than a regular mother. She was constantly worrying over Smallkit, who was sick for the majority of his kithood.
Even when both kits hit six moons and became apprentices, Spottedky continued to worry about both of them. Softpaw manages to escape the attentions most the time, while sickly Smallpaw is usually the unforunate receiver of her attentions.

Name: Ashflower
Age: 32 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: SkyClan
Apprentice: None
Rank: Queen
Mate/Crush: Stripedfoot/Other name (Kitty, methinks)
Kin:
Grayclaw (Father, NPC)
Rabbitheart (Mother, NPC)
Softstep (Sister, NPC)
Dovenose (Sister, NPC)
Brightclaw (Sister, NPC)
Elmkit (Son, Cloud)
Leopardkit (Daughter, Spore)
Oaktail (Nephew, NPC)
Lightfur (Niece, NPC)
Description: Ashflower was named for her beautiful ashen gray pelt. It varies in shade and hue, darkening at the tips of her ears and along her back. In other places, like her underbelly and paws, the gray lightens drastically. There is even a bit of white in her chin. Ashflower is built like a typical SkyClan cat, only a bit more slender and a teeny bit less muscular. Ashflower is perfect example of a beautiful she-cat. Her dark green eyes add to her beauty, as they seem to resemble the leaves of a healthy, strong tree in newleaf. It's quite obvious why she has always been praised for her beauty. She has grown into a gorgeous she-cat, the finest of her litter.
Personality: Ashflower is rather docile. She often nods politely in conversation, or smile sheepishly. It seems she is the exact polar opposite of her kits. Ashflower is known to be humble and, at times, a bit of a pushover. It is rare for her to stand up for herself or tell someone 'no.' This makes her easily bullied. But she'll rarely speak up about it. Ashflower has also proven herself, time and again, to be very intelligent. It seems she has a gift for solving problems. In her days as a warrior, she was known for thinking up new moves to use in battle and for hunting. Though many cats seem to wish that she were a bit more outspoken about her ideas and ideals. It would certainly make her life a bit more easier, as well as those around her. Sometimes it is difficult to tell what Ashflower truly feels deep down.
History: Ashkit was born to two happy warriors, Grayclaw and Rabbitheart. Her litter consisted of all she-cats. It wasn't long before they all developed distinct personalities. Brightkit, the strong and (sometimes bossy) leader; Dovekit, the diva; Softkit, the bubbleheaded one; and finally Ashkit, the quiet one. Everyone could tell early on that Ashflower was the prettiest of the bunch. All of the she-cats were pretty, thanks to their mother's genetics. But Ashkit seemed to stand out. And her sisters knew it. She was often bullied as a kit, resulting in her quiet indifferent nature. But Ashkit loved her sisters all the same. They were, after all, family. Her kithood was spent playing with them and listening to her parents tell stories.
All of the she-cats were soon apprenticed. It was quite obvious that Brightpaw was going to be the best fighter. Dovepaw seemed to be the best hunter, with her keen senses. Softpaw...well...she tried. Ashpaw put her heart and soul into her training. She took it very seriously, and sometimes became competitive with her sisters. Through it all, however, she remained friends with them each. Ashpaw's wit often shone through during this time. Each of the young apprentices were often praised for their individual talents. Ashpaw often became embarassed whenever her mentor bragged about her.
Ashpaw found a friend in Stripedpaw. The two spent a good deal amount of time together. Laughing, playing, discussing their training, and occasionally complaining about their mentors. At first they were simply good friends. Pals that shared secrets and did everything together. As they grew and matured, however, Ashpaw found her feelings for her best friend growing as well. Often her sisters would tease her about her relationship with him. Everytime, however, Ashpaw would deny it. In her heart, however, she habored those feelings and cherished every moment with him. One by one, she and her sisters became warriors. Brightpaw was first and became Brightclaw. Next was Dovepaw, who became Dovenose. It wasn't long after did Ashpaw become Ashflower. She shared her ceremony with Stripedpaw, and he became Stripedfoot.
Only a few days after their warrior ceremony did her old friend confess that he loved her. Ashflower, relieved and surprised, told him of her own feelings. From that day forward they went everywhere together and did everything together. Finally her sisters began to mock the both of them about hurrying up and starting a family. The pairs response: why not? So they began trying to have their own litter of kits. But it seemed Ashflower had trouble getting pregnant. After moons of trying, however, they conceived. Ashflower was overjoyed. She often sat and talked with her sisters, excited to be a mother. Meanwhile her sister Softstep already had her own litter of kits. She'd moved into the nursery shortly after becoming a warrior, as she'd found love young and had no trouble at all getting pregnant.
Sadly, Ashflower miscarried. She was devastated. Her mate, sisters, and parents did their best to console her. Finally Ashflower decided she was ready to try again. After getting pregnant once more, she often consulted Sandcloud about what to do to prevent another miscarry. She did everything she could in order to keep her unborn kits alive and healthy. After the longest two moons of her life, she gave birth to a healthy litter. Elmkit and Leopardkit became her pride and joy. But, alas, they grow up too fast! Elmkit and Leopardkit soon hit five moons old. Each has their own distinct personality, and it seems that StarClan chose to give her kits that are her exact opposite. She often turns to Stripedfoot to help her deal with them, as she sometimes finds herself at a loss.
Roleplay example: I think she's my first queen! XD
Other: I just lost The Game.
