Nightkit stumbled out of the elder's den, muttering how annoying and mousebrained Tallhawk was. That elder knew exactly how to get under her skin and make her so mad that she wanted to slash her claws across his face.
Seeing that the cats that had left for the gathering were already out of camp, probably going wherever the gathering place was, she felt better padding into the clearing. At least there weren't as many eyes that could see her or disapprove of her actions. That was a good sign, right? Shaking her head and trying not to think about Thornpaw, the black kit nearly fell as she bumped into something. Looking up she saw it was an apprentice, and it just so happened to be one of the oldest apprentices. Maybe this cat could help. She wasn't exactly a warrior yet, so asking help from her wouldn't be too bad.
"Do you know where I can find moss or something for the elders? I don't really want to go in Littlebird's den and I can't go out of camp by myself." Nightkit mewed looking up at the honey colored apprentice with wide eyes.
Honeypaw had been watching what had been left of her sister's trace leave the camp. She wished she could be there with her sister at the gathering, but knew she had to let go some time. Hearing a voice that sounded more like a mewl than anything, she looked down and spotted Nightkit, the kit that was suppose to be apprenticed. She had heard something about the kit's ceremony being delayed, but she hadn't really cared enough to want to know why.
"Yeah, I know a great place. It really comes in handy when you clean out all the dens, especially the nursery." she mewed in response to the little kit. "I could take you there, but we would need someone else to go with us, I don't think it would be wise to go just the two of us, just in case something happened." Honeypaw didn't know what could go wrong, but there was always the possibility, and she didn't want to take that chance, not when there was just a kit going with her, one who didn't look like she knew how to fight other than a battle of sharp-tongue.
