It's a Clan meeting!

"Yes, I think they'll leave us be," Darkfoot agreed, rising to his paws. He smiled at Willowstar's call. Time to leave! "At last," he purred, suddenly excited. He hadn't seem much of the other Clans for a moon.

Darkfoot stretched and trotted to Mistflower's side. They'd be at Fourtrees soon. Then the Gathering would begin.

"Oh, I'm sorry, is that what it sounded like?" Gingertail teased, puting on a too-innocent face. "Well, would it be nice to say, 'Sorry, Robinwing, but your fur's a mess and you smell like a fox that's been dead for a moon,'? That wouldn't be very nice, would it?" She let her facade drop and smiled. "You look fine." She stood and stretched. "It's time to go!" she meowed excitedly at Willowstar's announcement. She danced around Robinwing in odd little half-steps. "Come on, let's go!"

[glow=black,2,300]Skunkkit gave a half smile at Hollykit's purr. At least some cat in this Clan paid attention. The other warriors and apprentices didn't even look at him these days, they were too busy trying to avoid Tanglefang. Pfft, she's not that tough, Skunkkit thought, but even he knew not to mew it.

Skunkkit watched the mossball carefully, wondering if he'd hit it too hard and if it would go over Hollykit's head. But it didn't, she batted it back excitedly, and just as he was preparng to knock the mossball back he heard a soft sound that just brushed his ears.

He looked at Hollykit. "Did you just-?"

The mossball landed on his head before he could finish.[/glow]

As soon as Silverstripe heard the she-cat's laughter, his mood fell only more. Did she have to rub it in? It was embarrassing enough. It was typical of him to take things too seriously but it never got old and he never remembered not to let it get to him. He stepped back from her, his fur slightly ruffled and bristling.

After she finally stopped laughing- at him he guessed- Silverstripe still didn't let his mood alter. "I'm fine." He said maybe a little too bluntly. With the other cats already heading out of camp, he didn't want to wait any longer and forgot completely about the argument from earlier. Now he was just plain mad. The silver warrior trotted off to catch up with the other cats and tried to merge into the crowd.

Graypaw laughed listening to Rainpaw's rambling. If it was going to be like this the whole time he knew it would be fun. Maybe he would be able to make some new friends in other Clans. Last moon, for his first Gathering, he had been too overwhelmed by all the other Clans that he stayed glued to his Clan mates the whole time. This time he wouldn't be intimidated and try to meet other cats. Or at least he hoped. "I think they're leaving now," he said and glanced at the other apprentices.

Dewleaf's smile died on her face the moment she saw Silverstripe's expression and it was replaced by a worried frown. Oh, no she'd done it again. She knew her best friend was quite sensitive, and she tried not to laugh when things like this happened. It was just... She couldn't help herself. "Stupid, Dewleaf, stupid." She muttered to herself, immediately scrambling after Silverstripe when she saw him attempt to disappear amongst the crowd. She almost smiled, because he wasn't very good at hiding. Not from her, anyway. "Oh, Silverstripe, come back!" She called. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to upset you!" She barged her way past some apprentices who were at the back of the group, not stopping to apologise as she normally would have.

"Don't run away from me, Silverstripe!" She huffed. Hmm. He was really quite mad this time. She'd definitely gone too far... She supposed it was her fault, after all she'd been the one to make him chase her. "I'm sorry!" She wailed, drawing up along side her friend. "I'm sorry-sorry-sorry-sorry-sorry-sorry with a mouse on top!" She was now quite worried that Silverstripe would be mad at her all through the Gathering and she didn't want to go through her first one as a warrior without him sitting with her.

Silverstripe wished he could close- or at least cover- his hears, for all he could hear was Dewleaf's pleading to forgive her. He held back a sigh of slight annoyance and for a little while continued trying to get lost in the crowd. Dewleaf was making such a racket that he wouldn't be surprised if the cats at Fourtrees could hear, and she certainly wasn't making it any easier to avoid her. Suddenly she was beside him, making it impossible ignore her.

Biting back a complaint, he stayed silent as he usually did and tried to let the anger sink in. He knew he wouldn't stay mad for long, though he always convinced himself he would, because Dewleaf always had to make it hard. He wanted nothing more than to just get to the Gathering as soon as possible. He remained quiet, even walking a little faster to get ahead of her and attempt to get near the front of the group. Willowstar was leading the cats out of camp and into their territory, heading straight for Fourtrees.

Hollykit hadn't realized what she had done, but when she heard Skunkkit begin to mention something, she was about to respond, but the next thing out of the kit's mouth was a laugh. The reddish kit had bursted out in laughter as she watched the other kit hit with the mossball. Now this really was a great game, especially if she got to see someone other than her hit with something. She probably would have spoken again, if her mouth wasn't so busy laughing. By now the kit was rolling on the ground, unable to control herself.

[glow=black,2,300]The mossball had broken apart and spread all over Skunkkit's head, so the strnds hung over his face and clung to his head. Confused and slightly frightened by his inability to see, Skunkkit stumbled one way and then another, shaking his head violently to rid himself of the moss.

At last, the bundle fell off, and only small strands remained. Hearing Hollykit's laughter, Skunkkit scowled.

"Alright, alright, enough already," he mewed, scraping the moss off his head with a foreclaw, his ears hot with embarassment. [/glow]
