Earthfoot stepped into the hollow of ShadowClan's camp after the two ShadowClan warriors. He gazed around at the camp, subconsciously memorizing the layout of it and where all the dens were located. It seemed very different from ThunderClan's camp, yet strangely similar. Some of the dens even looked the same as ThunderClan's.
The medicine cat had led the group through ThunderClan's territory up to the border. When they had reached the Thunderpath, Earthfoot had made sure to warn Sagepaw of its dangers. It had been his first time seeing the large stretch of black that Twoleg monsters used. They went through the tunnel underneath the Thunderpath and entered ShadowClan territory. It surprised him how soon they had reached ShadowClan's camp. It was a long distance, but he had expected it to be longer. Earthfoot had watched Sagepaw to make sure he was keeping up. The strengthening herbs should have given him enough energy.
Now he was looking around the camp. He spotted a den that looked like the leader's den, located near an oak tree. He searched for the medicine cat den, unable to find which den it was without one of the other cat's help. He wondered where the leader, Specklestar, was, and guessed she was either in her den or the medicine cat's den. He stayed where he was, his jaws clenched over his bundle of herbs he was still carrying.
Swallowfang didn't know why she had come all this way. Oh yeah, that's right. To make sure those ShadowClan cats don't try anything. She growled under her breath as she thought. The marshy ground was difficult and irritating to walk on, the dampness getting her paws soaking wet. She had deduced these cats were somehow related to RiverClan. How else would they be able to put up with the muddy, wet ground they walked on? Thankfully, the hollow where the camp was had drier ground. The ThunderClan warrior looked around at the cats already in the clearing, and hoped they would finish soon and get back home.
