Hum. I suppose I'll tell you a bit about me... why not?
My name on forums is usually Sporelett, but I've also been known to go by Wyrmling. My real name is four letters long, and begins with K.
I have two brothers, one who's nearly six years my elder, and one who is 58 minutes younger than I am. Both of their names are also four letters long.
I am currently fifteen, and I turn sixteen in November. Scratch that! I'm almost seventeen and a half now. xD It is my personal belief that I have the mind of a sixty year-old woman. For some reason I seem to act like an old lady.
I love rules and I am obsessed with tradition; rule-breaking is very irritating to me. They exist for a reason, after all.
I love reading, writing, drawing, being on the computer, and generally being alone, doing quiet things. I am fascinated by nature and love animals, and hope to be a vet some day. My favourite animals are cats, chinchillas, and frogs. My favourite colour is green.
My favorite books authors include Erin Hunter (duh), Nora Roberts, Tamora Pierce, and Mary Janice Davidson, as well as Forgotten Realms books and Dragonlance books. If I had to name three books (or book series) that are my absolute favorites, I'd say The Circle Trilogy (by Nora Roberts), The Undead Series (by Mary Janice Davidson), and the Dragonlance Legends (by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman). Basically, I like books that contain three key components: romance, adventure, and humour. My tastes gravitate generally towards fantasy novels, but I've been known to read the odd sci-fi or animal fiction.
I like science, I don't hate math, I love art, language and history bore me, and my grade nine geography class was the easiest class I've ever done. I like food, especially baked things (cookies, muffins, cake, pie) and things with cheese. As a result, I'm capable at using an oven or toaster oven, but I'm absolutely hopeless with a stove.
I am eight inches shorter than my twin brother; one of my aspirations is to some day reach 5'3". I weigh less than 110 pounds and my hair is short and brown (which you might already know if you've seen my summer vacation topic). I wear contact lenses because without them I can't read my giant digital clock from across the room.
I love stuffed animals. I collect ty plush toys, and have over a hundred of them stuffed onto a shelf in my room. I did mention that I really like books too, right? It's not uncommon for me to read several in a week. I have four cats, but the youngest is easily my favorite, and I'm not afraid to admit it.
WITNESS THEIR CUTENESS! (Mostly Merlin's cuteness, but I guess you could look at the others too.)
[Maple] The eldest, currently twelve years old.
[Muffin] A few months younger than Maple. Loves people, tolerates other cats.
[Misty] Ten years old. Afraid of everything.
[Merlin] Three years old. Our only boy cat. A complete goofball.
Notice a naming trend going on there? X3 Oh jeez, I've got so many picture of Merlin I had trouble choosing one to use. I'm pretty sure I've got at least sixty. In comparison, I have two pics of Maple, one of Muffin, and five of Misty. Favoritism much? On the subject of pets, I used to have two rats, both of whom have passed away. Why don't I treat you with a picture of them as well?
[x] There they are. That's Speedy on the left, and Indiana on the right. Aren't they cute? ^_^ (The correct answer is 'yes')
Now then! Where was I? Oh yes, I was talking about me. Well, I live in Canada, so I tend to write things like 'honour' and 'favourite.' Unfortunately, I also get cold very easily, which sucks in the winter, when the snow piles three meters deep and the polar bears roam around outside... kidding. If you actually believed that, I advise you don't admit it. =P
As I mentioned earlier, I like to draw. Writing and reading is something I obviously do a lot (what else would I come here for?) but other than the monthy newletter drawings, I don't showcase a lot of my art here. But I have made a deviantART account, so if anyone wants to see more of my work, they can go here to take a look. ;3
That's all I have to say about myself, I think. If you actually read through everything I wrote, good for you! For those who skimmed; a pox on you all!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
