Name: Nala (Birth name: Damisi)
Age: 24 moons
Gender: She-cat
Mate/Crush: Open
Cutter: Nope
Kin: None that she knows of.
Description: Nala looks like she was shipped straight out of Africa, like most cats of her breed. Her main fur color is a gold-ish brown, while her markings are decidedly black. Nala's markings are an assortment of large spots and two flowing black stripes along her back. They merged into one at the base of her tail and vanish from her pelt. Her large ears, thin build, and all-around large size in general make her very wild-looking, as he name so rightly implies. Nala's eyes are a strange green color, almost like grass and mud mixed together. But the rest of her strange and exotic appearance makes up for her unappealing eye color. Everything about Nala is graceful, beautiful, and strangely wild. One can't help but wonder if her spirit is as wild as her appearance...
Collar: Nala's collar is a shockingly bright blue. So bright that it can be seen from a great distance. It also jingles. In addition to the tags saying she's had her vaccinations and her owners name and number, there's a bell. That way her Twoleg will always be able to locate her, should Nala stray too far from home.
Personality: Nala, like most of her breed, is a bit...wild. She prefers to be free to roam around Twoleg place instead of being shut up inside. She also finds joy in stalking birds and mice...even if she isn't good at it and rarely ever catches a thing. And if it is, it's by luck of the draw. Nala loves adventure, often making her the talk of the other kittypets. She openly proclaims she doesn't fear the 'fierce forest cats' and that no cat should really be afraid of them. Nala oftens tries to venture as close as she can to the forest in hopes of seeing a Clan cat. (She never has.) Despite her wild tendencies, Nala loves her Twolegs. This is what keeps her coming back obediently when called and what allows her the patience to be walked on a harness by their kits. Pure love.
History: Nala never knew her father, and she barely can remember her mother or littermates. Mostly she remembers her Twolegs. She was given to them on the day of the Twoleg Gathering, when they put a tree in their nest and hang bright things like stars on it. They tied a ribbon around her neck and gave her to their kits. Nala liked the two kits instantly, hairless and strange as they were. She vowed to protect them, and she did. She chased off any strange cats that came near the nest, and when they started taking her out on a harness she chased away any dogs that even looked at them the wrong way.
After she reached her twelfth moon, they started letting her go freely outside. Nala enjoyed the chance to talk to other kittypets, even if she seemed to make them nervous. One night Nala ignored her Twolegs when they called for her because she wanted to spend more time exploring. When she came home later in the evening the kits were wailing and yowling in what was, apparently, sadness. From that day forward Nala came home whenever she heard them call. On some days she comes when they don't call at the same time every day.
Around the time her Twolegs began to let her wander, Nala began to become more and more curious about the wild cats of the forest. She used to think that they looked like her, from the way cats talked about them. Larger than most kittypets and very...different in appearance. After talking to a rogue, however, Nala learned that they were regular cats. Regular cats that chose to live a hard life of hunting and fighting. Nala was at first a little disappointed. She hoped to find more cats that looked like her. Nala quickly cheered up, however. She was one of a kind after all! It also didn't diminish her curiousity about the forest cats. Yet she never dared to wander too far from her home. It would tear her up if the Twoleg kits got that upset again!
