Honeypaw had trotted into camp, a little while after Eclipsepaw. She had been scared thinking about the dog, and who could be next getting hurt. At least her sisters were in camp with her for now, that made her feel better than anyone could imagine. As long as her sisters were safe nothing else mattered. And then her eyes shifted to another cat she was beginning to care deeply for. He was acting all frantic and the she-cat was wondering what was wrong with him. When she got closer she heard her sister explaining about what was going on, and then Heronpaw mention her name. A small smile formed on her face, it was hard to believe someone other than her sisters cared for her. She padded to the tom and sat down a purr forming in her throat. "I hope I didn't scare you too much." she whispered. Noticing Specklestar had called a meeting she was paying more attention to Heronpaw than the meeting, but she caught the part about her job. She nodded, sad that her and Heronpaw would be split up, but knew her job was important. "Please be careful. Promise me that." she mewed glaring at him with her blue eyes.
Shrewfang had been in the warriors den, being lazy for the first time in her life. She had been working hard lately, and knew that resting would do her well, especially if something were to happen. Walking out of the warriors den at Specklestar's summonings she stretched her paws and padded closer. Hearing her name mentioned as a cat going, her ears twitched with amusement. This would be fun and dangerous, exactly what she liked. "Perfect." she murmered.
Thornpaw treaded around completely bored now that Nightkit was ignoring him completely. He felt horrible that she was mad at him and didn't know what to do anymore, but sit around and wait for his mentor to do whatever. He saw her sitting by the apprentices den and looking around in it. He really wished he knew what was going through her mind. Then again, it was probably some plan that involved trouble. He chuckled at the thought. Hearing the leader he was glad he was staying in camp, he probably wouldn't do too well trying to keep up being newly apprenticed anyway.
Nightkit stared at the apprentices den. Soon enough she would be in there and everyone would have to deal with her. She heard Specklestar and wished more than ever she could go on a patrol. The little black kit was imagining tearing the dog apart. She felt a pair of eyes watching her and turned to see Thornpaw staring at her, he looked away quickly and she actually felt somewhat guilty for ignoring him. But he deserved it. He was a mousebrain and told on her.
